Journée Dawson 2008

Le 22 Mai 2008, l'équipe Dawson France recevait plus de 100 clients dans un lieu d'exception, au cœur du Paris du Savoir. Le studio Cyclone, un loft contemporain et intime, niché dans un jardin exotique, accueillait cette manifestation.

Cette matinée fut l'occasion de faire un point sur les avancées de notre plateforme dawson era et des 60 000 titres déjà chargés ; et aussi d'annoncer les développements engagés pour la nouvelle version de notre base enterBooks.com.

Mandy Philips and Liam Sullivan of Edge Hill University Library meet the Foxhills Team!

Canterbury Christchurch University College visit Foxhills House!

Sharing a light moment with the Customer Team is Annette Linton of Canterbury Christchurch University College who visited Foxhills House for the first time on 13 March. Touring Foxhills, Annette was able to see our operation at first hand and meet the team who make it all possible. A most enjoyable day was had by all!

For those looking to put a name to a face, Annette is pictured in the middle flanked by Alex Spillane on the right and Wafaa Hurt. With her back to the shot is Felicity Killshaw and all three are members of the Customer Team.

Dawson Books attends the 9th International Bielefeld Conference in Germany!

Pictured above we have Ronald Jaeger - Sales Representative for Dawson in Europe with Claire Chandler of the dawsonera team. Keen to introduce our services and in particular our ebook platform dawsonera to Europe, the team spent 3 days meeting guests, demonstrating and introducing the attributes of this innovative ebook platform. The platform was well received, and this complemented this year's theme of the conference - "Upgrading the eLibrary"! Claire and Ronald enjoyed meeting everyone and for the chance to attend this ground breaking conference.

The turn of University of Southampton to visit Foxhills House!

Concentrating on every word, our friends from University of Southampton listen intently as Wilf Muliner (2nd from right) explains the finer points of book supply! Visiting popular Foxhills House on 29 October, the Library Team from University of Southampton spent the day with the Dawson Team.
